Public Area Cleaner (Houseman)

About the role

As a Houseman (Public Area Cleaner) you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring that all public spaces of the hotel are immaculate and welcoming. Your work helps create the warm, memorable experience Hilton is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices and event spaces through daily tasks like dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, carpet shampooing, window washing and trash removal.
• Greet guests courteously, answer questions and promptly address service requests to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Assist housekeeping teams with guest‑room cleaning and fulfill additional service requests as needed.
• Perform periodic deep‑cleaning projects, including mattress flipping, furniture moving and floor waxing.
