Purchase Scheduler – European Supply Chain

About the role

As a Purchase Scheduler for the European region, you will ensure that the right glass products are available at the right time across multiple plants. You will translate Master Planning signals into inter‑company purchase schedules, balancing service, cost, inventory and operational constraints to protect OTIF performance.

Key responsibilities

• Convert Master Planning requirements into accurate, executable inter‑company purchase schedules for EU plants.
• Proactively manage supply deviations, adjusting purchase plans to maintain customer service and OTIF results.
• Balance inventory, lead time, freight cost and capacity constraints to support efficient material flow.
• Collaborate daily with Production, Warehouse/Shipping and Logistics teams to align purchasing decisions with operational realities.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement opportunities in purchasing, scheduling and sourcing processes.
• Provide backup coverage for other EU Purchase Schedulers as needed.

Required profile

• Experience in purchasing, supply planning, scheduling or materials planning within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic, multi‑site European supply chain.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a service‑oriented mindset.
• Comfortable working cross‑functionally with planning, production and logistics teams.
