Purchasing Specialist (German Speaker)

About the role

We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist who is fluent in German to manage procurement processes and ensure alignment with organisational goals. The role involves establishing standards, monitoring portfolios, and supporting project teams with procurement tools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement policies, standards, and templates.
• Monitor and report on purchasing activities, maintain RAID logs and track KPIs.
• Assist in resource allocation and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to execute procurement activities, conduct quality reviews and manage change control.
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of procurement tools and software such as MS Project, PPM platforms, and Power BI.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or related roles with a focus on governance and reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and communication abilities.
• Ability to build relationships across all organisational levels.
