QA/QC & Food Safety Manager

About the role

The company is looking for a senior professional to lead its factory QA/QC and Food Safety teams. You will be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the Food Safety and Quality Management System while ensuring compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead internal audits and coordinate external audits from certification bodies, regulatory authorities, customers and retailers.
• Manage food safety plans, HACCP studies, risk assessments, prerequisite programs and verification activities.
• Supervise incoming raw material, in‑process and finished‑product inspections and control critical process parameters.
• Handle customer complaints, non‑conformities, deviations and product failures using root‑cause analysis and CAPA.
• Oversee supplier approval, supplier audits, raw‑material risk assessment and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Agriculture or Chemistry.
• 10+ years of quality experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of canning/filling lines, seamers, retorts/sterilizers and boilers is a plus.

Required skills

• FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, GHP, IFS/BRCGS standards.
• CAPA implementation and audit management.
• Laboratory testing: microbiological, chemical, pesticide residues, heavy metals, allergens.
• Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and good command of English.
