About the role
Raya Electric is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its Quality, Health, Safety, Environment (QHSE) and In‑process Control (IPC) functions. The role ensures compliance with international standards, drives continuous improvement, and embeds a safety‑first culture across all operations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement and communicate QHSE and IPC policies, procedures and programs aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Set, monitor and report QHSE objectives and KPIs, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
- Lead internal and external audits, close non‑conformities and maintain certification readiness.
- Manage QHSE and IPC budgets (OPEX & CAPEX) with effective cost control.
- Maintain the risk register, conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
- Coordinate with governmental and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with local safety and environmental regulations.
- Develop IPC control plans, process monitoring systems and CAPA frameworks to guarantee product consistency.
- Lead root‑cause investigations and continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce waste and enhance safety culture.
- Provide leadership, coaching and competency development for QHSE & IPC teams.
- Represent the company in audits, customer assessments and corporate meetings related to quality, safety and environmental performance.
Required profile
- Proficiency in ISO management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Experience in process validation, in‑process control and product qualification.
- Advanced knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency with QHSE software and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Strong data‑driven decision‑making and KPI tracking abilities.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous‑improvement frameworks.
- Understanding of Raya’s Business Code of Conduct, Mission, Vision, Strategy and Corporate Values.
