Quality Control Engineer

About the role

The Quality Control Engineer is responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance throughout the manufacturing process. This role involves detailed inspection, reporting, and continuous improvement activities to maintain high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage defect detection systems and perform thorough inspections.
• Document inspection results, complete detailed reports, and maintain performance records.
• Prepare technical reports, graphs, and charts; present monthly quality performance and stock evolution.
• Maintain measurement equipment according to operating instructions.
• Communicate inspection outcomes and propose corrective actions.
• Resolve quality‑related issues promptly and follow up on imported glass specifications.
• Write reports documenting product deficiencies and errors.
• Assist in the development and update of QA software and IMS systems.
• Handle the Complaints Management System and track non‑quality cost claims and KPIs.
• Support third‑party audits and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Proficient computer skills, especially with MS Office.
