Quality Control Inspector

About the role

The Quality Control Inspector ensures that packaging and product quality meet all technical and customer specifications at the factory level. This on‑site role acts as the bridge between production, operations and sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect packaging (PP bags, pallets, labels, markings) for 100% compliance with order requirements and report any deviations before loading.
• Sample and test calcium carbonate (CaCO₃) quality parameters, cross‑check factory results with independent sampling, and maintain complete quality records for each shipment.
• Maintain regular presence at factories, monitor production progress, and report risks that could affect quality or delivery timelines.
• Provide timely information to Operations/Sales, propose process improvements, and compile daily/weekly progress reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years experience in QC, QA or production control, preferably in mining, chemicals or bagged export goods.
• Basic understanding of calcium carbonate production is a plus; training will be provided for strong technical candidates.
• Own transportation or willingness to travel frequently to factories around Cairo.
• Honest, highly responsible and proactive with a hands‑on attitude.

• Detail‑oriented ability to spot small deviations in packaging and product quality.
• Strong communication for direct interaction with factory supervisors and workers.
• Clear, concise reporting and basic Excel skills for data tracking.
