Quality Control Manager - Retail

About the role

The Quality Control Manager – Retail ensures operational excellence and a consistent brand experience across all store locations. You will lead audit programmes, monitor compliance, and drive continuous improvement to boost customer satisfaction and store performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control standards and procedures for all retail sites.
• Conduct regular store audits covering SOPs, visual merchandising, operational guidelines, health, safety and security.
• Monitor customer service quality and ensure a uniform brand experience.
• Identify performance gaps, create corrective action plans and support new store openings.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, shrinkage, and loss‑prevention practices.
• Analyse audit results, customer feedback and KPIs to pinpoint improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Retail Operations, HR, Training and Store Managers to raise performance.
• Prepare quality reports and present findings to senior management.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Quality Management or a related field.
• 5–8 years of retail operations or quality‑control experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in retail chains (fashion, luxury, FMCG or consumer goods) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, SOPs and customer‑service standards.
• Proven ability to conduct operational audits and compliance reviews.
• Willingness to travel regularly between store locations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience using ERP/POS retail systems.
