Quality Engineer

About the role

The Quality Engineer will ensure that all construction activities, materials, and workmanship across multiple project sites in Egypt meet the approved drawings, specifications, codes and company quality standards. The role involves regular on‑site inspections and close collaboration with project teams, subcontractors and consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with drawings, specifications and applicable standards.
• Inspect incoming materials and equipment for conformity with technical requirements.
• Review project drawings, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and other quality documentation.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists, quality records and Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Follow up on NCRs, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and closed.
• Coordinate quality requirements with project teams, subcontractors and consultants.
• Participate in internal quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or related discipline).
• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, QA/QC or similar roles within construction, EPC or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of quality procedures, codes and standards.
