Quality & Hygiene Officer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Quality & Hygiene Officer to join our hotel team in Sharm El‑Sheikh. In this role you will safeguard guest health by ensuring food safety, hygiene and quality standards are consistently met across all operational areas.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor a Food Safety Management System aligned with international standards and Egyptian regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections and audits of kitchens, storage, receiving, transportation and buffet areas.
• Collect and analyse food, water, surface and hand swab samples; interpret microbiological results and issue recommendations.
• Perform hand‑hygiene and surface contamination checks using swab testing methods.
• Design and deliver training programmes on food safety, personal hygiene and sanitation for kitchen and stewarding staff.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and quality records for audit readiness.
• Investigate non‑conforming products and food‑safety incidents, lead corrective actions and monitor their effectiveness.
• Manage emergency situations, product recalls and crisis protocols, documenting outcomes.
• Coordinate with external auditors and respond to guest complaints related to food safety.

• Experience in a hospitality or food‑service environment is preferred.
