Quantity Survey Team Leader

About the role

The Quantity Survey Team Leader will support the project management team by providing expert contractual advice and ensuring that all subcontractor and main contract activities are managed efficiently. This senior position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across complex EPC projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide contractual advice to project management for informed decision‑making.
• Review, analyse and respond to contractual correspondence with subcontractors, clients and consortium partners.
• Manage claims processing, maintain claim logs and negotiate variations.
• Conduct weekly/bi‑weekly meetings with subcontractors to discuss and close variations.
• Review and certify subcontractor invoices, monitor payment status and ensure proper documentation of deductions and retentions.
• Oversee subcontract and main contract close‑out procedures, including issuance of TOAC and FAC.
• Coordinate early‑start activities such as LG issuance, insurance policies and other contractual deliverables.
• Liaise with clients, partners and project teams to maintain smooth communication.
• Report overall contractual status, including payments, billing, claims, VOs and amendments.
• Maintain up‑to‑date contract administration logs and project reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline).
• Minimum 8 years of experience on EPC projects in oil & gas, utility or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong knowledge of company policies and project management theory.
• Proven experience in multi‑discipline construction or engineering operations.
