Quantity Surveying (QS) Manager - French Speaker

About the role

Concrete Plus is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveying (QS) Manager who is fluent in French to lead the commercial and contractual side of large construction and infrastructure projects across Africa. The role combines cost control, contract administration, procurement and project‑control responsibilities in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project budgets, cost plans and forecasts; monitor costs and implement control measures.
• Prepare, review and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs); measure and value completed work; produce interim valuations and final accounts.
• Prepare tender documentation, evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations, and support procurement negotiations.
• Monitor cash flow, identify commercial risks, ensure timely invoicing and payment certification, and provide commercial input to project planning.

Required profile

• Professional certification such as MRICS, RICS, CIQS or equivalent (advantageous).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and commercial management.
• At least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven experience in construction, infrastructure, industrial or energy projects.
• Experience working in African, especially French‑speaking, markets is highly desirable.
