Quantity Surveying Team Leader - Ras El Hekma

About the role

The Quantity Surveying Team Leader will head the QS function across all phases of construction projects in Ras El Hekma. This senior position ensures cost planning, variation control and subcontractor evaluations are aligned with project objectives and commercial procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and supervise the quantity surveying team throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure timely submission and certification of valuations, variations and subcontractor payment applications.
• Prepare and negotiate variation orders with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Oversee interim payment applications to the client, providing all supporting documentation.
• Support cost‑optimization strategies and risk‑management activities.
• Produce monthly commercial reports for senior management and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive quantity surveying experience, including team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and contractual aspects of various contract types, especially FIDIC.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractor contracts and conduct commercial negotiations.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with a collaborative approach.
• Fluent English proficiency.
