Raw Material Planner

About the role

Yazaki is seeking a proactive Raw Material Planner to manage the procurement and flow of raw materials that support vehicle electrification projects. You will work closely with suppliers, production planners, and the transport team to ensure material availability and optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute raw material procurement based on MRP results, including sending releases and confirming orders.
• Analyze material coverage, reschedule open orders, and align deliveries with production plans.
• Monitor SAP parameters for order releases and verify supplier agreements.
• Obtain supplier invoices, control in‑transit parts using DOH reports, and confirm truck loadings meet ETA schedules.
• Maintain weekly coverage reports, archive quality/quantity claim documents, and take corrective actions to avoid shortages.
• Coordinate with project planners on customer demand changes and MPS updates.
• Complete transportation and internal charge forms for special transport needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 0‑3 years of experience in material planning, procurement, or a related area.
• Familiarity with SAP and MRP processes.
