R&D Formulation Specialist - Pharmaceutics

About the role

The R&D Formulation Specialist will join Nawah Scientific’s laboratory team to drive drug formulation projects, ensure data integrity, and support both internal and external stakeholders. The role combines hands‑on laboratory work with quality‑control responsibilities in a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform sample testing, data recording and routine checks to guarantee data quality.
• Execute laboratory procedures in line with ISO/IEC 17025 and GLP requirements.
• Run internal quality‑control programs and equipment operation protocols, including maintenance plans.
• Monitor environmental conditions and report any abnormal results or equipment malfunctions.
• Provide technical clarifications to external customers and report supply shortages, generating purchase requests as needed.
• Analyze proficiency‑test samples and document results.
• Implement and follow the formulation plan, collaborating with lab staff and reporting deviations.
• Participate in pilot and primary production batches when required.
• Suggest improvements to laboratory operations and stay updated on scientific and regulatory changes.
• Perform other duties assigned by the R&D manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
• 3–5 years of experience in drug formulation within a pharmaceutical company.
• Diploma in Formulation is a plus.
