Receiving Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Receiving Associate to join the first Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt. The role ensures that all incoming shipments are inspected, recorded and stored safely, supporting the hotel’s operations and guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect all incoming deliveries for correct quantity, quality and damage, and report any discrepancies.
• Verify that goods match purchase orders or requisitions.
• Organise and maintain storage areas in an orderly and safe manner.
• Update inventory records in the system and monitor stock levels.
• Complete and file all required paperwork such as delivery notes and receipts.
• Coordinate with suppliers, procurement and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries.
• Assist in distributing supplies to the appropriate hotel departments.
• Handle hazardous or perishable items according to health and safety regulations.
• Communicate any delivery issues or delays to relevant parties.
• Support additional tasks assigned by management to aid overall hotel operations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in warehouse or supply‑chain management is a plus.
• Previous experience in receiving, inventory control or warehouse management.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational ability and physical capability to lift and move supplies.
• Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
