About the role
We are looking for a professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact for Bayer Middle East. The role involves handling all telephone calls, greeting visitors, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Promptly answer and direct 100% of telephone calls and visitors with courtesy and professionalism.
- Assist callers, take messages, and transfer calls to the appropriate staff members.
- Welcome visitors, issue visitor cards, maintain a visitor log, and guide them to the right contacts.
- Provide accurate information about the organization, including address, directions, and general inquiries.
- Distribute incoming correspondence, support internal document flow, and manage outgoing mail.
- Coordinate meeting‑room reservations, communicate availability, and arrange required materials.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and ordering office supplies.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies, including stationery, first‑aid kits, and office plants.
- Support fleet and facility teams with procurement activities and daily administrative tasks.
- Act as the main contact for customs clearance and logistics coordination.
Required profile
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional demeanor with a strong customer‑service orientation.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Team player who can collaborate with various departments.
