Regional Business Director

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic business leader to establish and grow our operations in Egypt. The Regional Business Director will act as the top representative in the Egyptian market, driving market development while also overseeing the creation of a Shared Services Center that supports our global footprint across more than 12 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Build and strengthen our market position in Egypt through targeted business development, sales, marketing and distribution strategies.
• Lead the development of a sales, marketing and distribution network across Egyptian cities and regions.
• Manage relationships with ministries, industry bodies, chambers of commerce and regulatory agencies.
• Negotiate contracts, partnerships and distribution deals with local businesses and government entities.
• Oversee all local functions including sales, marketing, finance, HR and supply‑chain logistics.
• Hire, train and lead Egyptian teams focused on market operations and growth.
• Own the Egypt P&L, budgets and financial performance, ensuring compliance with tax, labor and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and develop a Shared Services Center in Egypt staffed by local professionals.
• Build operational teams for finance, HR, data management and business processes that serve 12+ countries.
• Monitor productivity, quality standards, cost efficiency and performance metrics of the shared services model.
• Represent the company in Egypt, building strong relationships with partners, suppliers, customers and government officials.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in senior business leadership roles.
• 10+ years managing teams and full P&L responsibility.
• At least 5 years experience in Middle East/GCC markets (preferred).
• Experience with shared services, offshore operations or business process management is advantageous.
