Regional Director – North Africa (Industrial Automation)

About the role

INVT Electric, a publicly listed high‑tech leader in industrial automation, is looking for a dynamic Regional Director to drive growth across North Africa. You will be responsible for building a strong market presence for our variable frequency drives, PLCs, HMIs and servo systems while travelling extensively throughout the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional business plan to meet aggressive sales targets for VFD, PLC, HMI and servo solutions.
• Analyse market trends and identify new vertical opportunities such as renewable energy, HVAC and heavy industry.
• Recruit, train and manage high‑performance distributors and system integrators in Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco.
• Maintain and expand relationships with key OEM and industrial end‑user accounts.
• Build and lead a regional sales team or virtual network, coordinating with technical support and product management.
• Oversee local marketing activities, including trade shows and customer events, to raise brand awareness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related field; MBA is a strong plus.
• Minimum 8 years of automation product sales experience, with at least 4 years in a regional management or senior leadership role.
• Proven track record selling VFD, PLC, HMI or servo solutions in the North African market.
• Fluent in English; French and/or Arabic highly preferred.
• Existing network of distributors, integrators and end‑user contacts in the region.
