Reliability & Planning Engineer

About the role

The Reliability & Planning Engineer will use advanced diagnostic tools such as vibration analysis, ultrasound and thermography to boost equipment reliability and availability at our terminal. The role focuses on continuous improvement, optimizing people, equipment and resources to meet organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a failure‑analysis program using FMEA methodology to increase asset availability.
• Apply reliability and quality techniques, including time‑motion studies, to optimise resource use.
• Identify and lead Lean and Six Sigma projects that reduce waste, cost and effort while improving profitability.
• Lead terminal asset inspection programmes in line with DP World standards to ensure safety and cost reduction.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programmes for all terminal equipment, ensuring compliance with engineering policies.
• Support safety and environmental initiatives such as CO₂ footprint reduction and energy consumption projects.
• Monitor technical KPIs, review maintenance execution, and contribute to internal audits.
• Deliver quality training and motivate engineering teams toward company goals.

Required profile

• BSc in Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in reliability engineering.
• Certifications such as CMRP, Vibration CAT II, Ultrasound CAT II (preferred).
• Strong command of English.
