About the role
We are seeking a remote Biology Educator to design and solve challenging biology problems that will be used to evaluate large language models. This short‑term contract lasts 11 weeks and offers flexible, task‑based compensation.
Key responsibilities
- Design and solve advanced biology problems for LLM evaluation benchmarks.
- Develop clear, step‑by‑step solutions with detailed reasoning.
- Collaborate with LLM researchers to create undergraduate‑to‑PhD‑level evaluation tasks.
- Help define new benchmarks and contribute to reasoning‑focused datasets.
- Explain complex biology concepts using simple language, visuals, or simulations when needed.
Required profile
- Master’s, Ph.D., or currently pursuing a Ph.D./Postdoctoral degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Strong research, analytical, and creative problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent written communication and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency in at least three of the following tools: BWA, Bowtie2, GATK, HMMER, HHsuite, STAR, SPAdes, IQ‑TREE, OpenMM, AlphaFold2, PyOpenMS, RELION, PhysiCell, COPASI, Comet, COBRApy, Hifiasm, ABySS, DeepVariant, Flye, OR‑Tools, Bracken, Kraken2, MEGAHIT, antiSMASH, BEAST2, FastTree, DIA‑NN, Percolator, AutoDock Vina, CP2K, Salmon, MethylDackel, Canu, GROMACS.
What we offer
