Remote Bookkeeper (Full-time)

About the role

We are hiring a Bookkeeper to manage day‑to‑day financial record‑keeping. The role ensures accurate books, reconciled accounts and prepares the business for monthly close, giving leadership clean numbers to act on.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily transactions in the accounting system (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
• Reconcile bank, credit‑card and payment‑processor accounts weekly.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and bill payments.
• Maintain organised digital records of receipts, invoices and supporting documents.
• Support monthly and quarterly close with accurate ledger entries.
• Collaborate with the controller on reporting, audit preparation and process improvements.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting support.
• Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite or similar platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Detail‑oriented with strong reconciliation discipline.
• Familiarity with US GAAP basics is a plus.
• Discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
