About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Remote Data Entry Specialist to support our distributed team. Working from anywhere in your region, you will ensure data accuracy and integrity across multiple systems, helping the business run smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Enter large volumes of data into internal databases, spreadsheets and management systems.
- Transcribe information from digital and document‑based sources and keep records up to date.
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for efficient retrieval.
- Verify entered information, correct inconsistencies and perform routine quality checks.
- Process customer records, inventory details, financial transactions and administrative documentation.
- Generate reports or summaries for management when requested.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and follow data‑protection guidelines.
Required profile
- Typing speed of at least 50 wpm with 98% accuracy or higher.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and stay productive in a remote environment.
- Clear communication skills for collaborating with remote team members.
- Basic understanding of data privacy and confidentiality practices.
Required skills
- Microsoft Excel
- Google Sheets or similar spreadsheet tools
- Familiarity with database systems
- Experience with CRM platforms
- Use of cloud‑based collaboration tools
