Remote Technical Business Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Technical Business Analyst with 5+ years of experience to shape the functionality of our SwiftAssess product. You will work closely with clients, product owners, and development teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough sessions with clients and stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Analyze requirements for clarity, completeness, consistency, and traceability.
• Document end‑to‑end business workflows, use cases, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
• Work with product managers, developers, designers, and QA to ensure shared understanding of requirements.
• Contribute to solution design, aligning features with client needs and business goals.
• Communicate specifications effectively to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Participate in validation and testing to confirm delivered functionality meets requirements.
• Maintain deep product knowledge of SwiftAssess and stay informed on industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience in the software industry.
• Experience with assessment software or education technology is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.
