Reservation Agent – Safaga, Egypt

About the role

The Reservation Agent will manage hotel bookings for Kempinski’s Safaga property, ensuring accuracy, rate compliance and a high level of guest satisfaction. The role involves daily monitoring of reservations, handling VIP arrivals and supporting revenue‑management initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily reservation accuracy, rate compliance and system close‑out when required.
• Maintain up‑to‑date reservation data in the Opera system.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and adherence to Kempinski service standards.
• Apply internal credit policy and follow up on lost business.
• Spot‑check previous day’s reservations and verify VIP arrivals.
• Achieve LQA/IFH test call results above 85%.
• Promote internal up‑sell programmes for the Reservations department.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Professional appearance, strong ethics and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera PMS and Opera central systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with revenue‑management and market performance reports.
