Resource Manager Operations – Senior Associate

About the role

PwC's Resource Management Operation Specialist team delivers end-to-end analytics solutions across internal data domains, from resource management and data ingestion and transformation to dashboard and analytics consumption, with people data as a key focus. The team builds and maintains centrally managed production data pipelines and curated data assets so that solutions are consistent, reusable and easy to support. This Senior Associate role focuses on back-end data engineering and data model design, working primarily in Databricks with PySpark and Spark SQL.

Key responsibilities

• Manage stakeholder relationships, communication and organisation
• Design and evolve data models and pipeline architectures supporting analytics and reporting
• Build and maintain production-grade data pipelines in Databricks using PySpark and Spark SQL
• Investigate data defects or failures, perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes
• Translate problem statements and reporting needs into well-structured data solutions with minimal guidance
• Clarify data requirements with the internal team and business stakeholders from a data model and engineering perspective
• Champion consistent, well-designed data models that reduce duplication and support reliable downstream analytics
• Contribute to engineering standards through code review, reusable utilities and common design patterns
• Produce code-level documentation and contribute to shared technical documentation
• Manage code in Git-based version-controlled environments

Required profile

• Strong, hands-on experience in resource management and data engineering
• Experience building, operating and improving production data pipelines in an enterprise environment
• Ability to work alongside downstream analytics tools such as Power BI, ensuring data models support efficient consumption
