Retail Credit Analyst

About the role

The Retail Credit Analyst is responsible for evaluating loan applications, ensuring compliance with credit policies, and verifying the financial and legal standing of retail customers. The role supports the credit‑lending process by preparing detailed analyses and maintaining high data quality.

Key responsibilities

• Review all credit applications against policy and documentation requirements based on customer segmentation.
• Extract and analyse I‑score, CBE, ACP, NID, protest, and bankruptcy reports to assess external obligations and legal status.
• Validate that accounting procedures are correctly followed and that the credit‑lending system contains accurate financial and personal data.
• Prepare analysis sheets, calculate debt‑service‑to‑income ratios within approved income bands, and apply the spreading model.
• Conduct internal verification using the prescribed script and match results with external documents to confirm creditworthiness.
• Apply the assigned approval limit, propose justified deviations for strong profiles, and document rationale.
• Meet service level agreements and turnaround times while keeping error rates within permitted thresholds.
• Perform any special tasks assigned by senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
• 0‑3 years of experience in the banking sector.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
