Retail Operations Manager

About the role

The Retail Operations Manager will lead the daily performance of multiple retail locations, ensuring smooth operations and strong financial results. This role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on management of store teams, inventory, and customer experience, primarily within the electronics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across all retail stores to ensure efficient business performance.
• Monitor sales performance, store KPIs, and operational metrics such as conversion rate, average basket size, and sales targets.
• Implement company policies, operational procedures, and brand standards consistently across locations.
• Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and coordinate with the supply‑chain team to avoid shortages or overstock.
• Supervise store managers and retail teams, providing coaching, performance management, and guidance.
• Ensure excellent customer experience and service standards at every branch.
• Coordinate with merchandising to optimise product display and promotions for electronics.
• Control store expenses, drive cost‑saving initiatives, and improve profitability.
• Support new store openings, renovations, and operational set‑up.
• Address operational issues, customer complaints, and escalations as needed.
• Prepare periodic operational reports and recommend performance improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in retail operations, preferably in electronics.
• Proven experience managing multiple stores or branches.
• Strong knowledge of retail KPIs, store operations, and inventory management.
• Experience in team leadership and performance management.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced retail environment and juggle multiple priorities.
