Retail Sales Representative

About the role

The Retail Sales Representative will promote and sell the company's frozen potato products to retail outlets within an assigned territory. The role focuses on ensuring product availability, optimal shelf placement, and building strong relationships with store managers to meet sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily sales calls to retail outlets according to a predefined route plan.
• Take orders and enter them accurately into the ordering system.
• Achieve individual sales targets for both volume and value.
• Ensure proper product display, shelf placement, and visibility.
• Implement trade promotions and distribute promotional materials.
• Monitor competitor activity and provide market feedback.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and owners.
• Address customer inquiries promptly and resolve any issues.
• Submit daily call reports and sales activity updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field (preferred).
• At least 1 year of sales experience in FMCG or retail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of order‑to‑cash processes and ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
