About the role
The Retention Account Manager will lead the contract renewal process for RSA’s enterprise customers, ensuring high retention rates and protecting revenue streams. This role involves negotiating renewal agreements, addressing customer concerns, and identifying upsell opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end customer renewal process and own renewal timelines.
- Negotiate and close renewal agreements with existing customers.
- Address customer concerns, provide solutions to prevent churn, and promote upgrades or add‑ons.
- Track renewal metrics, report performance, and maintain accurate customer records.
- Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities during renewal discussions.
- Collaborate with sales, account management, and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Required profile
- 5‑7 years of experience in sales‑related roles such as renewal sales, inside sales, account management, or customer success.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple renewal cycles.
- Customer‑focused mindset with a track record of meeting retention targets.
