Risk Manager – BNPL Operations

About the role

The Risk Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective risk management framework to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks across the organization. The role ensures risk exposures are managed within the approved risk appetite while supporting business growth, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and sound governance practices.

Key responsibilities

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in Risk Management, Credit Risk, or related fields within banks, fintech companies, BNPL providers, or non‑banking financial institutions.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, governance principles, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of Basel III, risk assessment techniques, and mitigation strategies in a BNPL or lending context.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and computer systems/risk management tools.
