Rolling Stock Technician

About the role

The Rolling Stock Technician ensures that trains are ready for operation on schedule, adhering to technical standards and safety requirements. Working in a depot environment, the technician diagnoses faults, performs repairs, and supports the maintenance team.

Key responsibilities

• Verify reports, record failures and analyse incident history.
• Diagnose faults accurately and carry out troubleshooting actions.
• Perform tests, verifications and cyclical checks, reporting results and maintaining traceability.
• Maintain tools, spare parts inventory and organise workspace logistics.
• Control quality of work, ensure compliance with Quality Assurance procedures and contribute to documentation.
• Train newcomers and interns, and manage potential conflict situations.

Required profile

• Private diploma in electrical or mechanical maintenance.
• At least 5 years of experience in a maintenance environment; railway experience is a plus.
• Fluent Arabic; English proficiency is an advantage.
