About the role
The Rolling Stock Technician ensures that trains are ready for operation on schedule, adhering to technical standards and safety requirements. Working in a depot environment, the technician diagnoses faults, performs repairs, and supports the maintenance team.
Key responsibilities
- Verify reports, record failures and analyse incident history.
- Diagnose faults accurately and carry out troubleshooting actions.
- Perform tests, verifications and cyclical checks, reporting results and maintaining traceability.
- Maintain tools, spare parts inventory and organise workspace logistics.
- Control quality of work, ensure compliance with Quality Assurance procedures and contribute to documentation.
- Train newcomers and interns, and manage potential conflict situations.
Required profile
- Private diploma in electrical or mechanical maintenance.
- At least 5 years of experience in a maintenance environment; railway experience is a plus.
- Fluent Arabic; English proficiency is an advantage.
