Sales Assistant – Retail (Cairo Festival City)

About the role

We are looking for a Sales Assistant to join our IKEA store at Cairo Festival City. The role involves helping customers find the right home furnishing products, ensuring the store is well‑presented and supporting the achievement of sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, listen to their needs and provide product advice in line with IKEA values.
• Conduct daily inspections of the sales area to verify price labels, product tags and merchandising standards.
• Monitor stock levels, recommend orders and coordinate with the procurement team.
• Prepare pro‑forma invoices, follow up quotations and convert enquiries into sales.
• Identify sales opportunities, suggest alternatives and promote add‑on items to meet targets.
• Collect customer feedback and relay insights to improve the shopping experience.
• Maintain full product displays using IKEA merchandising methods and stay updated on range changes.
