Sales Manager – Food Ingredients (Egypt, Libya, Lebanon, Syria)

About the role

Cargill is seeking a Sales Manager to lead the food ingredients business across Egypt, Libya, Lebanon and Syria. The role focuses on large or complex customers, handling products such as cocoa ingredients, sweeteners and starches, and requires strong client‑relationship skills to maintain competitive positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the requirements of defined direct customers and distributors.
• Develop and execute account plans and business plans for each key account.
• Coordinate internal resources to deliver value‑added services.
• Build and nurture strong client relationships influencing product, price and service strategies.
• Support the supervisor and sales team in identifying new market opportunities.
• Handle complex commercial issues independently, escalating only the most critical.
• Oversee commercial and payment‑collection responsibilities for assigned customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in the food ingredients market, covering commercial and business development activities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proven track record of measurable achievements in the food ingredients sector.
