Salesforce Technical Manager

About the role

PwC's advisory practice in business application consulting helps clients optimise operational efficiency through software solutions, training and support. As a Salesforce Technical Manager, you will lead the Salesforce delivery team, coach junior members and deliver client solutions across Salesforce products, working with teams in the UK, Germany and other EMEA countries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Salesforce team, guiding developers and administrators
• Support the leadership of the new Salesforce Practice and take an active role in the delivery team
• Deliver client service and solutions across Salesforce products
• Lead delivery teams to meet scope, time, quality and budget
• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for Salesforce initiatives aligned with business goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse business requirements
• Oversee design, development and deployment of Salesforce applications and their integration with other systems
• Design and maintain scalable, reliable architecture and monitor performance, data integrity and security
• Audit configurations and customisations regularly and train end-users to maximise adoption

Required profile

• At least 6 years of hands-on experience implementing business logic in APEX, creating Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages, and configuring the Salesforce platform
• Proven experience leading developer teams on complex IT implementation projects
• Ability to design technical architectures, estimate project scope and make reliable quotes
• Several Salesforce certifications preferred (Admin, Advanced Admin, App Builder, Platform Dev 1 & 2, Sales/Service Cloud, Architect)
