SAP ABAP Senior Associate

About the role

PwC is looking for a highly motivated and technically proficient ABAP Consultant to join its Advisory practice in Cairo as a Senior Associate. The role suits someone with 2.5 to 7 years of hands-on SAP ABAP experience who understands business processes and can turn functional requirements into solid technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and deploy custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements and forms.
• Work with functional consultants to understand business needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Review code and ensure compliance with SAP best practices and coding standards.
• Support SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI and HR through development and troubleshooting.
• Optimize existing ABAP code for performance and scalability.
• Take part in SAP upgrade and migration projects.
• Provide technical documentation and user training as needed.

Required profile

• 2.5 to 7 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture and data structures.
• Experience with SAP NetWeaver and SAP ECC.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, able to work independently and in teams.

Required skills

• Classical and object-oriented ABAP programming.
• SmartForms, SAPScripts, ALV Reports, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits and Enhancements.
• Debugging and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori, UI5, CDS Views and OData is a plus.
