SAP Data Migration Associate (ECC/S/4HANA)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled SAP Data Migration Associate to join our advisory team in Cairo. The role involves planning, coordinating and executing data migration activities for SAP ECC or S/4HANA implementations, ensuring high data integrity and minimal operational disruption.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in end‑to‑end data migration activities for SAP ECC or S/4HANA projects.
• Develop and execute migration strategies, detailed plans and timelines.
• Manage ETL processes, including extraction, transformation and loading from legacy systems.
• Utilise SAP migration tools such as LSMW, LTMC, LTMOM, SAP Migration Cockpit and SAP Data Services.
• Provide training, support and mentorship to junior team members on migration tools.
• Collaborate with business owners, data owners and functional teams to define and validate data requirements.
• Coordinate data mapping, cleansing, enrichment, validation and reconciliation activities.
• Work closely with SAP functional consultants and technical teams to ensure proper data structures and configuration.
• Monitor migration progress, report issues and risks, and ensure compliance with data‑quality standards.
• Oversee testing activities, including mock loads, validation cycles and cut‑over planning.
• Lead a team of associates, senior associates and external consultants as needed.

Required profile

• Strong experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA data migration projects.
• Deep knowledge of SAP data migration methodologies and best practices.
• Proven ability to manage complex ETL processes and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both business and technical stakeholders.
