SAP Datasphere Consultant - Senior Associate

About the role

PwC's Advisory practice in Cairo is hiring a Senior Associate SAP Datasphere Consultant within its SAP Cloud practice. The role helps clients maximise the value of their SAP investment by designing, developing and operating data solutions on SAP Datasphere, covering sales, finance, supply chain, engineering and human capital areas.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate data solutions on SAP Datasphere, focusing on data modelling, harmonisation, governance and scalable data product design.
• Bridge business and IT by translating stakeholder functional requirements into semantically enriched data models.
• Design and implement space- and layer-based architectures (Inbound, Transformation, Reporting) with flexible authorisation and data reuse.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL-based models and views, and build analytical models for reporting, analytics and planning.
• Enable data consumption in SAP Analytics Cloud and selected third-party tools, and integrate data from SAP and non-SAP sources following enterprise data standards.
• Ensure data quality, integrity and consistency across Datasphere objects and data products.
• Contribute to data migration and modernisation, moving from legacy DWH approaches toward a modern data fabric architecture.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science or a comparable field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience with data and analytics tools, ideally in an enterprise or consulting environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Practical, hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere (data modelling, integration, spaces and data products).
• Strong data modelling and SQL skills.
• Basic hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud; SAP BW (BW/4HANA or BW 7.x) is a strong plus.
• First-hand exposure to Databricks or similar platforms is beneficial.
