Security Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Security Officer to protect passengers, staff and assets at Cairo International Airport. The role combines regular patrols, monitoring of security systems and rapid response to incidents while maintaining a safe environment for all visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the airport property and control access to rooms and restricted zones.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress and fire‑life‑safety systems continuously.
• Lock and unlock property entrances as required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR or contact emergency medical services.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies, defuse disturbances and escort unwelcome persons.
• Document all incidents, complete shift summaries and loss‑prevention reports.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence and conduct interviews when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality of all security reports and proprietary information.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and respond quickly to emergencies.
• Strong judgment and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and professional appearance.
• Commitment to follow company policies, safety procedures and confidentiality requirements.

Required skills

• CCTV monitoring and operation.
• Perimeter alarm and duress alarm system handling.
• Fire life‑safety system operation.
• Basic computer usage for incident reporting.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
