Senior Accounts Payable Supervisor

About the role

The Senior Accounts Payable Supervisor will lead the end‑to‑end AP function for Premier Services and Recruitment across Egypt and selected Middle East entities. The role ensures accurate invoice processing, timely supplier payments, tax compliance and continuous improvement of AP processes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the full AP cycle, reviewing and approving invoices and payment requests.
• Manage invoice uploads via the MarkView portal and monitor scan logs.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and respond promptly to supplier inquiries.
• Coordinate with banks for payments and maintain both electronic and physical AP records.
• Monitor invoices through the Egyptian Tax Portal, reject invalid invoices, and reconcile tax data with the accounting system.
• Prepare and submit VAT and Withholding Tax returns, liaising with tax authorities as needed.
• Review employee expense claims in Concur and ensure compliance with travel and expense policies.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, prepare AP reports and audit‑ready documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5–6 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax regulations and AP best practices.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
