Senior Architect Design Engineer

About the role

The Senior Architect Design Engineer will lead architectural design projects for Al Ashraaf Developments, from concept through detailed design, ensuring compliance with functional requirements, local regulations and company quality standards. Based on‑site in El Obour, the role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and mentorship of junior designers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review architectural drawings, 3D models and design documentation.
• Coordinate design solutions with structural, MEP and construction teams.
• Manage design changes throughout the project lifecycle and ensure alignment with project schedules.
• Participate in site visits to verify design implementation and resolve on‑site issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and engineers.
• Support integration and optimisation of BIM, CAD and other design‑related software tools.

Required profile

• Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Architecture, Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience leading complex residential, commercial or mixed‑use projects in Egypt or similar markets.
• Strong project‑management abilities, including planning, documentation and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to work on‑site in El Obour and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Revit.
• Experience using BIM tools and platforms.
