Senior Associate – Financial Accounting & Reporting

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its commercially‑focused technical accounting team in Cairo. You will work on high‑profile accounting and reporting transformation projects, helping clients in the insurance and financial services sectors meet their strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist managers in delivering complex accounting advisory engagements for a variety of clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key client staff, presenting advice confidently and professionally.
• Manage multiple project tasks simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Apply strong technical accounting knowledge in a commercial context to provide practical advice.
• Conduct in‑depth IFRS research, prepare technical papers, and support senior team discussions.
• Collaborate with other PwC service lines such as tax, legal, and deals.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of IFRS and general accounting principles.
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry, including exposure to complex accounting matters.
• Fluency in English and Arabic with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within Egypt, the Middle East, and to project locations as needed.
