Senior Associate, IT Risk & Assurance (German Speaker)

About the role

PwC is hiring a Senior Associate in its Advisory line of service, within the Technology specialism, based in Cairo. The role focuses on IT risk and assurance for German and international clients, leading parts of technology audit engagements, guiding junior staff and delivering high-quality results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead components of technology audit, IT risk and assurance engagements for German and international clients.
• Coordinate with managers to deliver tailored audit programmes and ensure timely completion.
• Review the work prepared by Associates and give constructive coaching.
• Identify and escalate audit findings, exceptions and potential changes to the audit plan.
• Act as a liaison between project teams and subject-matter experts.
• Contribute to drafting deliverables, reports and client presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Business IT or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT audit, technology assurance or risk consulting.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; German speaking is a plus.
• Proven understanding of IT controls, cybersecurity and risk frameworks.
• Preferred: professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, and experience managing multi-country or cross-functional audit teams.
