Senior Associate, Lease Contract

About the role

Majid Al Futtaim Properties, Asset Management Egypt, is looking for a Senior Associate, Lease Contract to provide active administrative support to its Leasing Team. The role covers the development and monitoring of lease proposals and lease agreement documents, keeping all lease-related documents in line with the agreed terms and conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Create entries for lease deals in the Data Capture System from the input of the Leasing Team.
• Draft and prepare final lease agreements, amendments and deeds, checking them against the agreed terms and conditions.
• Review the client's final acceptance of the lease agreement to avoid ambiguity.
• Collect tenant documents such as trade licence, commercial registration, insurance certificate and owner's passport copies.
• Organise and forward payment documents with the signed lease agreement to the client.
• Handle all correspondence with tenants by email, letter and fax and follow up until the lease is signed.
• Exchange cheques, job requests, T-Forms and other documents with Leasing, Finance, Legal and Retail Architecture.
• Provide lease administration data and reports to the Senior Manager Lease Administration when requested.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law.
• 1-2 years of experience in lease administration and documentation, preferably in a real estate company, legal firm or retail business.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
