Senior Associate - SAP Software Testing

About the role

PwC's ETIC advisory practice in Cairo is looking for a Senior Associate to join its software testing and quality assurance team. You will evaluate systems and applications to find defects and gaps, running test cases and scenarios so that software meets its requirements. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of software testing experience and a strong background in managing testing processes and teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement test strategies, plans and processes for SAP, including the SAP Activate methodology
• Lead and manage a team of testers, giving guidance, support and mentorship
• Manage SIT and UAT cycles in medium-to-large projects and set and review UAT strategy
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to understand requirements and define test objectives
• Use automated testing tools and frameworks, and conduct risk analysis to prioritise testing
• Monitor and report testing progress, including defect tracking and resolution
• Work with development teams to identify and resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement in testing practices

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of software testing experience
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools and processes
• Good communication, reporting and interpersonal skills, able to work with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• ISTQB certification is a plus
