Senior Audit & Assurance Professional – Cairo

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an experienced Senior professional to join its Audit & Assurance team in Cairo. You will work with a diverse client base, applying audit standards and risk‑management principles to deliver high‑quality assurance services.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with stakeholders by understanding their expectations and service level needs.
• Deliver high‑quality audit services while considering regulatory impact and risk management.
• Research key statistics and industry matters for each entity before engagements begin.
• Adapt template referral instructions to define audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with on‑shore and off‑shore Centres of Excellence, ensuring accurate information exchange.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and assess their relevance.
• Link risks, controls, procedures and findings across audit files in a timely manner.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and demonstrate how they contribute to overall audit quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in audit and assurance, preferably at a senior level.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk‑management concepts.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both on‑shore and off‑shore teams.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on delivering accurate and complete audit documentation.
• Capacity to challenge audit plans and timelines constructively.
