Senior Business Analyst

About the role

The Senior Business Analyst acts as a bridge between business units and technology teams, identifying opportunities to improve processes and drive organizational effectiveness. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into actionable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) and Scope Documents.
• Manage the full lifecycle of project requirements, including planning, elicitation, analysis, validation, approval and change management.
• Review test scenarios, validate results and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Conduct system demonstrations and support user training for newly implemented solutions.
• Apply Business Process Re‑engineering (BPR) techniques to enhance operational efficiency.
• Drive organizational change, facilitate stakeholder collaboration and ensure compliance with Central Bank of Egypt regulations and internal policies.
• Assist the Project/Product Manager with planning and coordination activities.
• Identify solution options and assess their technical and business feasibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience in business analysis or process improvement.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven capability to manage multiple projects from initiation to completion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to understand business challenges and develop practical, value‑driven solutions.
• Professional certifications such as CBAP, Lean, Six Sigma or BPR are preferred.
