Senior Cloud Expert

About the role

Advansys, a solutions provider with over 400 engineers serving 100+ enterprise customers across 14 countries, is looking for a Senior Cloud Expert. The role leads the design, automation and operation of scalable, observable, AI-ready cloud platforms for customer engagements and acts as a trusted technical advisor across the delivery lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and automation of multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows for application and infrastructure delivery.
• Design and implement full-stack observability (metrics, logs, traces) with tools such as Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog, CloudWatch or Azure Monitor.
• Deploy and support AI/ML workloads (model hosting, MLOps pipelines, GPU/inference infrastructure) with AI/ML teams.
• Own container/Kubernetes platforms (EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift), including scaling, security hardening and cost optimization.
• Lead cloud migration, assessment and modernization engagements end-to-end.
• Advise clients on DevOps, cloud, AI/ML and observability architecture.
• Define SRE practices: SLOs/SLIs, alerting strategy and incident response runbooks.
• Mentor mid-level cloud engineers and contribute to the DevOps/cloud knowledge base.
• Support presales with technical input for DevOps, cloud, AI/ML and observability proposals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on DevOps/cloud engineering experience across AWS, Azure and/or GCP.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating AI/ML workloads on cloud platforms.
• At least 3 public cloud certifications (AWS, Azure or GCP) in architecture, DevOps or ML specialties.

Required skills

• Strong IaC (Terraform/Ansible) and CI/CD/GitOps skills.
• Strong containers/Kubernetes experience in production.
• Strong scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and Windows/Linux administration.
• Preferred: experience with large open-source projects, knowledge of Rust, background in encryption/security infrastructure, and experience designing automated testing and integration frameworks.
