About the role
Concrete Plus is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to strengthen its Finance team in New Cairo. The role focuses on monitoring and analysing project costs within the construction sector, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting decision‑making.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse project cost reports and perform variance analysis.
- Monitor project budgets against actual expenditures.
- Review cost allocations and ensure accurate cost recording.
- Support monthly closing activities and cost reconciliation.
- Coordinate with project teams to track financial performance.
- Assist in cost control, forecasting and budgeting activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 4–7 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in construction.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and project costing.
- Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and meet deadlines.
Required skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems; Odoo is a plus.
