Senior Cybersecurity Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a highly technical and strategic Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to design, build, and lead our Cybersecurity organization from the ground up. You will define the overall security strategy, create specialized sub‑departments, and ensure the company’s security posture aligns with regional financial regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and formalize the cybersecurity department structure, including SecOps, GRC, AppSec, and IAM.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high‑performing team of security engineers, analysts, and GRC specialists.
• Deploy, configure, and manage security tools, integrating automated testing (SAST, DAST, SCA, secret scanning) into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab).
• Champion DevSecOps by implementing SonarQube, Trivy, Gitleaks, OWASP ZAP, and related tooling.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulatory frameworks such as NCA, SAMA, CMA, and IA.
• Act as escalation point for severe incidents and design secure multi‑cloud architectures with continuous monitoring.

Required profile

• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or senior consulting role.
• Proven track record of building security teams or departments from scratch, preferably in fintech, insurance, or investment platforms.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical risks into business terms for executives.
